Ariane Racicot is a Montreal jazz pianist and composer who blends metal, Latin, and classical to create a unique style. Her second album, "Danser avec le feu," was released on February 21, 2025 and is nominated at ADISQ Gala for Jazz Album of the Year.

The rising pianist on the contemporary jazz scene from Montreal, Ariane Racicot, blends jazz fusion, Latin and metal, with hints of classical and progressive rock and influences ranging from Hiromi Uehara and Chick Corea to Tigran Hamasyan, Avishai Cohen and Keith Jarrett.
Envolée, Ariane's debut album released in May 2022, was widely acclaimed by critics and earned her the title of “Révélation Radio-Canada 2022-2023”. Notable performances followed, including opening for Wynton Marsalis at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal and opening for John Scofield at the Festival Quebec Jazz en Juin.
The Ariane Racicot Trio continues to perform throughout Quebec and Ontario, captivating audiences with its passion and energy.
Ariane Racicot released her second album, Danser avec le feu, in February 2025 at the Cabaret Lion d’Or in Montreal, where it was sold out.

The genesis of the album comes from many years listening to her favourite players, such as: Hiromi Uehara, Tigran Hamasyan, Avishai Cohen and Keith Jarrett. Ariane is also influenced by her favorite metal bands that she has been listening to since her teenage year.
